Bio/History: When Adelaide was born, her mother died in childbirth. This left the King worried for his only child, and only heir. She was encouraged to learn about their region as much as she could, and to be a kind girl. Over time, she realized how out of touch from the world she was. A guard was with her all hours of the day, and she wasn't allowed to actually leave the capital city, out of her father's fear she would be killed.
As a child, she had few friends, other than her cousins or other servant's children. It was hard for her to relate to others, and because of this disassociation with people, she has a hard time expressing her feelings or relating to others outside of her situation. She is intelligent, however, books mainly being her friend throughout her life. Adelaide is well spoken and well liked by those who know her, but she longs to leave the city and make her own mistakes.
Personality: Adelaide is a quiet girl, and although as mentioned she wants to leave the city, she's too afraid to do it. She has little knowledge of what she considers the real world and is afraid of what might happen. Adventure and travel excite her, but her personality restricts her from taking action. She's more of a daydreamer than someone to act on an idea.
Weapons: Her father personally trained her in the art of swordplay, but it's only for protection. She carries no weapon.
Other: Her personal guard, Evan Hewitt, is with her constantly, and she thinks of him as an older brother.
As much as she loves her father, she wishes he would let her try things for herself.
Has a great fear of what lies beyond the city walls.
