"Well, that's a bit disappointing" Miles sighed dramatically, having not heard Victor's last statement, and smiled brightly at Elisa as he casually ran his fingers through her brand new red hair "You look gorgeous" His smile even turned sympathetic, as if he expected for his friend to be sad due to her boyfriend's 'poor' reaction.
Needless to say, the young girl didn't feel dispirited because of the knight's remark. Her lips quirked up into a foolish grin and her hand, quite naturally, found its way to Victor's. She gave him a soft squeeze before her gaze swivelled up to her friend.
"Any reason as to why I get to be stuck with this flashy colour?" She asked him, though her tone revealed her question to be an obvious joke.
"Don't you dare tell me you don't like it, Lisa, 'cause I know you do" Miles smirked "Maybe you don't remember everything you tell me, but I don't forget easily"
Elisa chuckled lightly, before raising her free hand to her hair and capturing a loose strand with her fingers. She examined it briefly, before deciding that she was, quite certain, pleased with the outcome. Later, everything was set and ready for them to leave, of course, not without a brief argument between Elisa and Miles about who was the one to pay the bill, with the latter winning it and paying. The three of them exited the beauty salon, and the young guy urged the now redhead to hurry it up unless she wanted to be late.
Adam relished in the deliciously warm water that poured down on him when he turned the instructed knob to the side. As always, everything seemed to be so immediate in her world, and he discovered that he sort of had to struggle to keep up. Didn't matter, though, because he knew he'd get used to it, he'd do it for his lady.
A couple of minutes later, the knight stepped out of the shower, and used a towel to quickly dry his body before he got into the tight jeans Elisa had lent him. The towel's soft material was quite refreshing, while the sweet yet strong scent it gave off was a bit disconcerting but nice nonetheless. While stopping in front of the mirror, he couldn't help it but feel out of place still. He had to blend in, he had to.
Get a job He told himself ... And, when possible, kill that bastard.
His face slipped into a frown, and his eyes darkened. Rebecca begged for him to stay, and he did, but if she expected for him to forget it, he found he couldn't. When it came down to something so precious to him, he felt the urge to take revenge whenever it was harmed, he couldn't help it. Rebecca wouldn't help him in his task, but maybe her friend would...?
"Adam? Are you decent?" Her voice snapped him out of it.
The brown haired man swallowed his rage once more, and stepped out of the bathroom shirtless as he was, though with the jeans around his waist.
