"Do you really think it's smart to needle him so?" Nari turned in her seat, curling her legs up underneath her to get a little more comfortable- in much the same way a cat might curl up in a warm spot of sun. She couldn't help but watch the clouds form the corner of her eyes- fascinated by the coming and going of the white vapor. It seemed so strange to be flying among them.
"We're eventually going to have to set him free, and you're really asking for him to attack you." In fact, if Nari didn't know better she would have thought he had a death wish. Seeing the way he spent his free time, how he pushed the buttons of any and everyone he interacted with. It could almost be called... self-destructive.
---------
Aislyn crouched down in front of her brother, biting her lip to keep from laughing at his predicament. He wouldn't thank her for it- and while it was amusing to see him taken down by a girl almost half his size and a pirate, he was certainly not in the best of moods.
"I just want to throttle that damned bastard- lying pus eating, gutter whore f-" Aislyn rolled her eyes, sitting beside her brother and jabbing her elbow into one of the softer parts of his armor, effectively stopping his rant before it could lift in volume and only serve to cause the pirate even more smug pleasure.
"You'll just have to deal with it, brother. We need him to take us to Leyvetten- and you have to admit that he's at least getting us there quickly. We can always return the airship once we've finished our quest." Armor clanked as he shifted in spot, a sigh forcing it's way between his lips.
"I know, little sis. That doesn't mean I can't punch in his smug little nose as soon as we land." Aislyn smiled at that- and she wouldn't stop him from doing it either. All it would take was one good swing and he would be fine for the rest of the duration of their journey. Though he no doubt hoped they could leave the pirate behind when they reached their neighboring capitol.
Aedan flexed his arm- testing the strength of the cuffs on his wrist attaching him to the railing. They groaned under the force- and it was with a grim smile that he left the devices where they were. No doubt these were merely meant for...play of some kind. A nausea inducing thought- but one that meant he could snap them with enough force.
