Elisa wrinkled her nose at the mention of Rebecca's ex in response to her friend's statement. God she hated the guy. However, no matter how many times did she told her friend so, she didn't listen to her. Things had to get quite nasty until she finally got out of it for good. The blonde, though, still itched to punch the guy in the face. A small smile was drawn on her face when she remembered a time she had gotten to kick him in a place that ... well let's just say hurt a lot more.
No wonder Adam had looked as if he was panicking when he saw her friend crying, the poor guy. The memories came washing over her when she thought about Nick and Rebecca. Memories about how her life was back then as well. When her family had this huge economic problem, and money was scarce, really, really scarce. Now, though, her parents were successful, and though they cared a great deal about their only daughter, they were just never there.
However, it was not the time to think about that. She had just had a pleasant evening and wasn't about to get depressed right after that. She wasn't planning on talking about the past with Rebecca either, now was not the time. Some wounds, those that scarred the soul, could only be healed by time and time alone.
She pushed herself off the wall and walked over to where her friend sat. Another bed was just by hers, small and simple, given that the room didn't exactly left space for more. She plopped down by her side in the same bed, her feet still touching the cold floor beneath them. Chuckling, she wrapped her arms under her head "No, he isn't bad at all" She agreed while remembering the two times she had stared at him that day to study his appearance "Though I believe you think of Adam as someone more than just 'not so bad'. Don't you?" She teased.
"You think?" Adam said with a bit of sarcasm, though there was still a grin on his face. While Victor seemed to turn down the rivers of women who came to him, Adam did so subtly, not wanting to hurt the feelings of either of them. Consequently, though he was by no means a player, he'd have flings with them, and either he'd have to leave or he'd have his heart broken by them. When he gave his heart, he tried to give it all. He was a passionate person and very prone to 'falling in love'.
"Hey, hey, look who's talking" He raised his hands "At least I go the chance to dance with a marvellous and beautiful lady tonight, you ended up with one who seems as if she wants to choke the live out of you at any moment she gets the chance to" He stated, though he dodged his question "What about you and Elisa then? If there was something louder than the music were yours and her laughter" He exclaimed, though he was exaggerating, he did saw them smile and laugh, but not as loud as he had declared.
Normally, when he 'fell' for someone, he told Victor right away. She was always the right one, the perfect lady. It never ended up at way though. What could be said about him? He was extremely noble at heart and his heart was supposed to be easily moved. But right now, with Rebecca, it hadn't just been moved, it was something else. And Adam couldn't wrap his mind about it. He did believe in love at first sight, but it wasn't like those he had experienced before. For a twenty-four year old guy, he could still get confused about his own feelings.
