Elisa shifted lightly, rendered speechless for a split of second, having been caught off guard.
"Of course I missed you too, mom" She finally declared, her brows knitting together lightly "Of course" She repeated "I just- I thought you were supposed to come back next week"
"I managed to settle things earlier than expected" Tessa shrugged, and outstretched her arms towards her daughter "Come here" The redhead stepped over and wrapped her arms around her mother with enthusiasm.
Of course she had missed her. Gosh, she hadn't seen her in days, she hadn't been in her arms for what felt like ages. Her mother, her father, she thought she would never get the chance to see them ever again. And there they were. She buried her face in her mother's shoulder, tears begging to be shed, but she held them back.
"You dyed your hair" The blonde commented.
"Miles doing" Elisa replied.
"Ah" Tessa chuckled "The same as your father's. Ain't it so, darling?"
"Aye" Morgan said "Eli, hen?"
"Yes, dad?" She asked as she pulled away from her mother's embrace.
"Would ya mind to introduce us?" It was rather funny how, after all these years, her father's accent, unlike her mother's, hadn't faded.
"Oh" Both Tessa and Elisa exclaimed at the same time as they laid her eyes on Victor.
"I'm sorry" She walked over back to the knight, and, for a split of second, she didn't know how to introduce him to her parents. Should she only say his name? Or should she also state their relationship? "Victor, those are my parents, Theresa and Morgan. Mom, dad, this is Victor, my boyfriend" Well, it had come out much more natural to her than she had expected.
Though he could've teased Rebecca for her little mistake, Adam chose not to. If only because she was still a lady, and the subject it could lead to felt a bit too sensitive or intimate for him to comment openly about it. He was much more open about things than many people back on his world, but above all he didn't want to make his lady feel uncomfortable. Not wanting to disrespect her, he just smiled at her and gave her hand an affectionate squeeze.
"I see no reason for you to apologise" He stated, and to spare her the embarrassment, he changed the subject "What do people usually do here on a date?" He asked, instead.
