Riew eyed Lance, his scales bristling at the idea of being so close to Adriana, and not doing anything to help her. But the man was right, and Riew snorted his disgruntlement.
Fine. I will fly us. Riew lowered his leg to let Lance jump astride him, his wings shifting experimentally before he gave a great leap- laboriously making his way into the sky. Back, in the same direction they'd come from. In Adriana's direction.

Adriana took in a sharp breath, trying to blink the darkness out of her eyes as her back slammed against the hard concrete ground. She could see his silhouette looming over her, a menacing shadow.
"Really darlin' I don't know what you evah saw in that one. She bites." Aedan chuckled, grabbing Adriana roughly by the back of the head and forcing a length of cloth between her lips. He grinned at her spiteful glare. That was exactly what he'd always loved about Adriana. She bit back. It had been a sad day when he'd finally broken that spirit of hers. But now, it seemed to be trickling back.
"You should know me better then that by now, Geranium. Give me some time alone with my long lost fiance." Fear warred with the defiance in Adriana's eyes, in spite of all of her efforts to remain stoic and hateful. That was the kind of look he loved. "There are so many things for us to catch up on." Aedan ran his thumb along Adriana's chin, following her face even as she pulled away.
"Don't do anythin' ah wouldn't do..." Aedan smirked darkly, as Geranium left the small cell. He'd lucked out, on this old abandoned complex. Concrete walls, iron barred cells. The perfect place to hole up an ambush for the entire party of riders. All they'd needed was the bait. He'd taken a risk, in convincing the orange haired one to find Adriana for him. But he had wanted this brief moment with her, before they turned them all in to the military.
"I wonder how many new scars you have, my little fireball." The look in her eyes turned bleak, and Aedan laughed.
