"Adri-" Cece choked out, collapsing against her auburn haired friend with a poorly concealed sob. She was okay and she was alive - and all they had to do was get everyone else out without injury and-
"Adri I'm so sorry- I never meant- I didn't know-"
Adriana lifted on hand to Cece's had, pushing her short orange locks back from her face. It was fine. It was okay now- they were here, and they'd all get out of this alive. Cece was sure. If Adri was okay, then everything would be fine.
"Get off, so I can sit up."
Cece gave a watery chuckle, peeling herself off of Adriana and rubbing the palm of her hand in her eyes to try and stave off the tears. Adriana sat up- feeling better then she'd felt in a long time. Like all of her aches and pains and stress induced weariness had faded over-
"How- how long...?" She was almost scared to ask. There was a foggy blank in her mind, memories she couldn't recall since she'd been shot.
"Not even a day. Think we'd leave you in the clutches of that creep?" Adriana's eyebrows furrowed, her surroundings finally coming into focus. Light, and a faded watery vision of her friends fighting. What the hell had happened- where the hell was she...?
It all snapped back at once, and Adriana gasped. Aedan, and Zac... and then his hands on her skin, forcing her to concede to him, dark and light blurring together until she couldn't separate them in her mind or tell the difference between one memory ending and the other beginning, and all she knew was that it was wrong-
Oh god, so wrong-
A stifled gasp left her lips, and she groaned, hands clutching at her head. She clenched her eyes shut against the incessant buzzing in her skull. Too many things happening all at once, a sick sense of pleasure that made her feel nauseous, overpowering fear that crippled her and left her knees weak and an anger that coursed through her veins with all the subtlety of a tidal wave ravishing every corner of her mind. No- what was happening? Where were these feelings coming from-
"Adri?!" Cece reached for Adriana, jumping back as electricity arced between her hand and Adriana's skin. "Zac- somethings wrong!"
